The World of Warcraft systems technology team is seeking a highly motivated individual to work with the systems technology lead on a myriad of engineering projects, that are not specifically tied to individual game features or patches.   These projects include future technology, build server support, client streaming technology, data collection and analysis, and automated testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent training, and professional experience
  
• Expert C / C++ programming skills
  
• Experience with code optimization
  
• Strong motivation to analyze and improve systems and infrastructure
  
• Passion for video games
  

Pluses

• Passion for technology
  
• Passion for World of Warcraft
  
• Previous experience with shipping video game titles
  
• Proficient with PERL, Ruby, and / or Python
