Senior Web Application Developer - Award Winning MMO Developer
An award winning massively multiplayer online games developer licenses, markets and operates its virtual worlds for millions of players in Europe, Asia and North America.
My client is looking for a Senior Web Application Developer with a particular interest in computer games and online gameing. They can offer you a varied job to support the development team.
The job will include:
• Expansion, maintenance and development of systems based on object oriented PHP, Java, MySQL, MSSQL, HTML, Javascript, Ajax and CSS
• Stand-alone, cross-departmental implementation of new software projects
Skills and experience required:
• A completed study of computer science or equivalent qualifications
• Practical experience within a similar role preferably within the Gaming Industry
• Excellent PHP, Java, - and SQL knowledge
• Experience in software project documentation
• Teamwork, structured way of working, commitment, independence and a high quality of work
• Technically fluent in German with excellent written and spoken, good English skills
Additional qualifications:
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with version control systems (GIT)
