Senior Web Developer

Overview

Responsibilities
- Develop customer facing web sites and/or web applications
- Assist with maintaining and patching third-party web applications (WordPress, vBulletin, ExpressionEngine)
- Assist with developing technical requirements for external vendor projects
Qualifications
- 5 plus years of experience developing customer facing commercial websites
- Proven familiarity with all levels of the web development process
- Development experience using PHP
- Experience with database design on MySQL or Postresql
- Linux development experience
- Apache configuration experience
- Experience with Search Engine Optimization
Desired Experience:
- Experience with highly scalable data storage technologies such as Hadoop
- Experience working with CodeIgniter, Expression Engine, Wordpress and vBulletin
- Experience working with external agencies on multiple projects
- Experiencing developing content rich and interactive web applications
- Experience with web service development
- Working knowledge of HTML5, Flash and CSS
- Development experience in a public cloud environments
