The mission of EA’s Corporate FP&A; Strategy Team is to drive shareholder value and support business strategy development and execution by:
1) Producing class-leading analysis, to assist Senior Executive Leadership in identifying trends and making business-optimizing decisions.
2) Regularly researching, assessing, and communicating risks and opportunities (internal and external).
3) Providing insight and developing strategic options to mitigate those risks or capitalize on those opportunities, while helping drive EA to meet all Financial and Operational goals.

Role Overview

EA’s Corporate FP&A; Strategy Team has broad responsibilities and supports a wide variety of senior executive leaders. With this team, the Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for special projects, company-level analysis and reporting for senior executive management. Supported groups include CAO, CFO, CEO and Board of Directors, as well as Investor Relations and Corporate Development.

Key responsibilities include:
• Provide Decision Support / Ad hoc Analysis of business performance. This would include updating and maintaining short- and long-range business models.
• In partnership with Labels, Digital and Platform Teams, lead the further assessment and integration of business models into the Enterprise Business Intelligence Tool (Microstrategy-based) in order to measure and report acquisition, engagement and monetization.
• Lead the ongoing governance and administration of the Tool, including training new users, creating standard analytical reports, publishing a regular newsletter, participating in the Data Governance Council, and listening to feedback.
• Publish an ongoing “Monthly Metrics Report” to the CFO, and a quarterly version to CEO/CFO for inclusion in Board and Investor communications. These reports include KPIs and analysis to highlight performance of EA’s digital and direct-to-consumer businesses.
• Also, as a member of the broader Corporate FP&A; team, this role will be expected to collaborate with the rest of the Corporate FP&A; team to assist with Earnings Call and Board of Directors materials, and other reporting as needed.

What skills does EA look for??
• BS degree in Business, Economics or other quantitative field required
• 4-6 years in investment banking, management consulting or divisional/corporate finance
• Demonstrated top quartile performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence
• Entertainment, digital media or consumer packaged goods industry experience preferred
• Superior analytical, modeling and problem solving skills; ability to transform numerical data into actionable business insight
• Power-user of Excel; proficient with PowerPoint, knowledge of Essbase or related analytical software
• Strong written and oral communication skills that enable impact through clear and concise communication to executive management
• Proven ability to develop new skills and expand responsibilities within current role
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy on work output
• Appreciation for data integrity, process definition and organizational alignment
• Inquisitive, quick and energetic learner
• Able to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities
