We are looking for an analytic guru who will help us grow Dragon Age Legends to be a blockbuster social hit. The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst will lead the mining, analysis, visualization and interpretation of our player data to inform design and development priorities. The successful candidate must have a profound love for massive amounts of data and the composure to distill findings into actions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts analyses with a focus on experimental design, assessment, execution, measurement of current programs, evaluation of proposed programs, behavioral analysis, data mining, customer segmentation, predictive modeling, performance management, and other relevant statistical analyses.
Analyze user data to improve and optimize player experience, acquisition, retention, monetization, and virality
Conduct competitive analysis and establish industry benchmarks for key metrics
Own the model that informs our business forecasts and performance targets using bottoms-up analysis of key daily metrics
Build predictive models to forecast the impact of features on key performance indicators
Summarizes and presents findings, insights and recommendations in concise written reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Business or a quantitative field (Statistics, Decisions Sciences, Economics, etc.).
4+ years professional experience using quantitative and analytical skills
Superb SQL skills: experience querying large, complex data sets
Excel rockstar, including pivot tables, macros and complex modeling
Proven ability to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze, develop hypothesis and make recommendations
The ability to predict future business questions and the desire to take the initiative on your own accord to find solutions
Comfort with a wide range of analysis tools and the flexibility to innovate
Willingness to teach and mentor others in the discipline of analysis
Strong presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills including results packaging and development of management presentations preferred
Demonstrated ability to use data to influence decision making
Strong attention to details and solid follow-through skills required
Must be a self-starter and a problem solver
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and address unforeseen problems creatively, patiently, and tactfully
Enthusiasm and willingness to innovate and try new tools and approaches to analysis
Extreme passion for video games and specifically, social games and role-playing games
