Job Summary
The Sr. Manager, Global IT Operations will manage and administer the global IT infrastructure organization/environments/technology/operations including central infrastructure and site infrastructure. This covers data center operations, global site support, system continuity, Microsoft, Linux, Unix, and Web infrastructure, middle-tier systems, Storage Area Network, network and telecommunications, and global level 1 support.
This role will own all activities aligned to ensure production stability and uptime. This includes but is not limited to day-to-day operations; enterprise monitoring; problem resolution and support; resource and capacity management; downtime planning, scheduling, communication and coordination for break/fix, patching, and/or hardware refresh efforts; project development planning, working closely with the architecture team to support their projects, and people management. This position is a leadership role and will be required to work and interact effectively across all levels of management, departments, and outside vendors to ensure IT service levels and vendor deliverables are consistently met.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
The Sr. Manager/Director, Global IT Operations will be responsible for performing a broad range of activities, including but not limited to:
· Deliver IT operational performance, projects, and overall excellence in a cost effective manner supporting global business operations
· Manage technology, process and people in the following areas:
o Microsoft directory, DNS, collaboration, email, and file servers
o Unix, Linux, and Intel-based O/S install, setup, configuration and support
o VMware install, setup and support
o Data center operations & enterprise monitoring
o Data storage, backup, and system disaster recovery
o Web infrastructure, firewall, internet infrastructure, client security solutions
o Network (including routing, switching, cabling, voice, wireless)
o Hardware procurement, implementation, break/fix, and maintenance
o Asset management and tracking
o Audio/Visual management and support
o Development and enforcement of corporate IT policies
o Providing Level 1 support
o Telephony procurement, management and billing
o System continuity and disaster recovery
· Ensure adequate, efficient, and cost effective provision of IT services according to system requirements, and technology continuity
· Establish and continuously improve operational performance (Level 1Service Desk SLA performance, system uptime, asset utilization)
· General IT management: Project and change management, cost center management, people management, and support of global strategic IT projects
· Assisting and enabling technical consolidation and centralization wherever possible while focused on deploying standard solutions in support of the production environment
· Excellent experience working across diverse technical teams including supporting a mixed-shore Application Managed Services model support all applications globally
· Deliver results while respecting cultural difference and diversity across the global team
Essential Skills
Strong technical background in IT infrastructure and solutions encompassing:

Solid understanding of application systems including:
· Database administration
· ERP systems
· Interfaces/ETL/SOA
· Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing
· Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
· Candidates must manage a 24x7 operation, handling business critical incidents, and escalations as appropriate
· Hands-on experience managing onshore, near-shore, and offshore resources in a support capacity
· Must be confident team player with a can-do attitude
· Strong analytical approach to problem solving and solution design
· Strong Organizational Influencer: Someone who can influence others to adopt changes, ability to drive change and deliver results
· Internal' customer oriented with ability to understand their needs and direction, lead effective discussions, and provide outstanding IT service levels

Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field. Master's degree is desirable
· Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior IT role, preferably within a global organization
· Excellent technical skills across network, hardware, O/S, and applications
· Strong project management experience
· Experience in managing employees
· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
