Strategic Account Manager, Global Media Solutions (Full Time Contract)
Location -- New York, NY
As part of the Marketing Services department of EA Global Media Solutions (GMS), the Strategic Account Manager will support the efforts of the GMS Sales team by managing, retaining, growing and satisfying EA’s top advertising partners. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Services, the Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for identifying, marketing and executing EA media solutions that meet and exceed brand objectives across every gaming platform including social, casual/online, mobile and console. He/She will support our Sales Leaders to serve as a dedicated EA resource for our strategic partners, acting as their primary point of contact for all things campaign related. Ultimately responsible for orchestrating a variety of internal resources to ensure campaign expectations are met, this person will collaborate with a variety of internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Creative Services, Insights, Operations, and Ad Product.
Responsibilities include:
• Primary point of contact for external clients and internal partners
• Build partner relationships, understand and analyze their marketing goals and identify EA media solutions that meet their objectives
• Build and maintain a strong knowledge of EA games and ad products; educate clients on new advertising opportunities and prepare marketing materials to support big ideas
• Communicate all aspects of campaign components to relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct regular calls to communicate contracted deliverables and progress, and provide optimization recommendations
• Partner with Ad Product Managers to gain internal approval and production development timelines
• Partner with Ad Operations to monitor campaign performance
• Partner with Insights to organize and execute brand studies
• Create recaps to communicate metrics achieved at the end of each campaign
Minimum Job Qualifications:
• BA Required with 4-5 years of progressive Account Management experience or relevant agency experience, with an emphasis on new media and/or gaming, including social and mobile gaming
• Multi-tasking abilities and initiative in order to proactively deal with a wide range of inquiries and types of programs
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and creating presentations in PowerPoint
• Ability to independently identify, analyze and resolve complex customer and business related trends effectively, with a focus on proactive solutions and issue resolution
• Strong attention to detail, ability to organize, prioritize, and be responsive to customer requests
• Ability to react with a strong sense of urgency related to meeting client needs and deadlines
• Ability to leverage data from multiple sources to answer business questions for clients
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (proposals, business communication, marketing, writing)
• A strong background in marketing with experience in pitching big ideas or generating large scale presentations or concepts
• Client or Agency direct digital experience
Preferable Job Qualifications:
• Interest in gaming
• Experience with third party data and insight providers, ie. comScore, Interpret
• Experience leading cross functional teams on special projects or initiatives
• Experience working with Salesforce.com is a plus
