The Marketing and Sales teams are critical to the success of any game. The Marketing team works closely with game developers to ensure the game has a clear design and a clear ‘X’ factor, (i.e., the defining element of the game that makes it unique and the ultimate reason behind why our customers should pay for and play our game). The Marketing team identifies the key audience for our games and tailors the marketing strategy to communicate clearly to the intended target. The Sales team is responsible for making sure the game reaches all relevant distribution points, so that our customers can find our games at their favorite shopping destinations.
Role Overview
An EA Sales Manager is tasked with driving sales and bottom line profitability through creative sales strategies and building profitable relationships.
What skills does EA look for??
An EA Sales Manager traditionally possesses 3+ years experience in selling advertising and promotions programs; recent online sales experience required; comfortable with selling promotions, integrated partnership programs beyond banner advertisements; past online agency media planning/ buying is a plus; solid understanding of the online publisher-side sales processes and online advertising agency management and structure; Strong knowledge of defined market geographical territory market and potential; current agency and client relationships are a must. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, both written and verbally articulate, a self starter, possess high energy and possess solid presentation, creative and analytical skills. They have to possess a can-do, competitive yet team-oriented attitude, with a customer-focused approach and a demonstrated strength in finding the win-win solutions with a positive attitude.
