Submissions Coordinator
Department: Quality Assurance
Reports To: CQA (Firsty Party) Supervisor
Position Summary:
The Submission Coordinator is responsible for the submission of titles and
additional products to the First Party Manufacturers. The position involves
coordinating with PD, Marketing, QA, and the Developer Studios to ensure all
titles have the necessary documentation and files to form a complete submission
package. The Coordinator should be ready to submit these packages at a moment’s
notice, so daily communication with the various departments will be required.
Responsibilities:
This position will work with the Sony First Party group.
• Create, maintain and track comprehensive submission schedules for THQ’s
products
• Ensure receipt and submission of build deliverables in accordance with project
milestones
• Create submission assessment reports and escalate to management following
established procedures
• Research new submission policies and procedures from the First Party
Manufacturers, notifying QA, PD and Developer Studios of any changes
• Perform routine checks on builds to ensure formats and settings match
submission requirements
• Submit purchase orders to First Party Manufacturers for submission
testing/media
• Serve as a liaison and resource to Development teams, proactively managing
schedules and assets
• Create and maintain a submission records archive and create reports on
submission trending and common submission and build issues
• Assist with Mastering Lab functions as needed
• Special tasks/projects as assigned by the Mastering Lab Supervisor
• Send out notification emails to provide submission status updates
Qualifications:
• Previous experience with Admin Support/Project Coordination recommended
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to communicate professionally and build strong working relationships
with all levels of the organization
• Strong PC knowledge is a plus
• Working knowledge of FTP programs and Excel required
• Mandatory overtime will be required on a project need basis
• Highly self-motivated and versatile, possessing an eye for detail and the
ability to focus on and execute to deadlines in accordance with established
processes
• Ability to multitask and work well in a fast paced cohesive team environment
• Strong attention to detail
