My client is an independent development studio for online and mobile with a real passion to develop creative, high quality products.
To help with their continued success and realize their ambitious projects they are now looking to recruit a Technical Director.

Job Description
•Leadership and guidance during the development of an online game production
•Technical conception and planning, e.g. development of software architecture
•Development of release and rollout processes (deployment)
•Planning and realization of monitoring and controlling systems
•Close cooperation with the development team (Scrum)
•Identifying new developments, technology and trends in the gaming industry
Requirements
•Professional education in the IT domain, solid work experience
•Extensive knowledge of object-orientated programming and realization of multiplayer games
•Solid knowledge of framework and middleware based development
•Solid knowledge of online and mobile games development and cross platform support
•Extensive knowledge of Linux, Apache, MySQL/ Inno DB and PHP
•Knowledge of memcached systems and HTTP caching methods
•Experience with Unity and Flash projects
•Experience in planning of distributed systems (Firewalls, LoadBalancer, Content Delivery Networks, etc.)
•Sound approach to solving problems
•Self-dependent and systematical working ethics
•Reliable and ability to work in teams, leadership and social competence
•Knowledge of X-Cache, HpHp, Lighttpd and Nginx
