Experience & Qualifications:

Industry leading Publisher is in search of a top-notch Online Technical Director to join our online and social gaming team. The primary objective of the Online Technical Director will be to provide effective technical leadership for multiple game projects for social platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Effectively communicate the core technical design and experience to the rest of the internal organization.

- Help ensure that the product leverages the ideas and resources of the design.

- Project manage all technical facets of the online game as a live service.

- Manage and assist external developers in succeeding.

- Help evaluate, as part of due diligence, technical capabilities of prospective partners.

- Problem solve.

- Review and critique developers work.

- Identify project risks and communicate them promptly and effectively with proposed solutions.

- Create best practices and technical documents.

- 5+ years software development experience within the games industry. Online and social games experience a must.

- 2+ years as a Technical Director or Lead Programmer or Team Leader of games development.

- Architectural expertise.

- Project management experience.

- 1+ AAA social/casual games titles preferred, including launch and live execution.

- Strong in Unity3d engine and/or Flash.

- Strong understanding of backend/online infrastructure as it relates to social/casual games.

- Working knowledge of upcoming technologies such as Flash 3D, HTML 5 IOS, Android, etc.

- Ability to effectively problem solve.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work in a team environment with maturity and leadership.

- Experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET.
