Role Summary:
The Technical Project/Product Manager within the Central Technology Group is responsible to facilitate implementation and maintenance of software systems, tools and technologies to improve quality, distribution and execution of our mobile game products. In this role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders and Product Managers in disparate locations to formulate requirements, translate these demands to executable plans, and follow them through to delivery. Most importantly, you will serve as the driving force to steer each project through key milestones from early planning to maintenance.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with EA internal stakeholders, other EA departments and vendors (where applicable) to investigate project requests and estimate scope
• Create process flow documentation
• Aggregate business/user requirements and translate into functional specifications
• Develop and maintain project plans and supporting documentation to track progress
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and management
• Identify project risks and mitigation plans to ensure predictability; adjust resources and priorities accordingly
• Facilitate resolution of design and implementation issues
• Coordinate system-level setup and configuration through IT
• Coordinate quality assurance and user acceptance testing
• Write or manage the delivery of user documentation
• Manage customer acceptance and ensure solutions are stable and supportable
• Ensure ongoing requests for enhancement and fixes are appropriately routed and escalated
• Seek information from in and out of project teams to identify priorities among requests
• Possible travel to other EA locations worldwide as needed

Skills and Knowledge Required:
• Proven success as a project/product manager
• Thorough understanding of project management tools, life-cycles, methodologies (Waterfall and Agile), processes, and planning
• Experience with virtual and remote teams
• History of multiple simultaneous project management
• Experience leading change management within the workplace; ideal candidate will have led a technology integration project or enterprise application changeover
• Exposure to database-centric (e.g. reporting/tracking) systems and internet related technologies
Education Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years of project management experience with substantial focus on the delivery of business software solutions to online, entertainment, or technology consulting sectors; mobile industry experience a plus
• BS/BA Degree from a 4 year college or university (degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field is a plus)
• PMI Certificate preferred, but not required
