Tools Software Engineer
Chicago, IL / Hunt Valley, MD
We have an opportunity for an exceptional Software Engineer to join our Tools Group. The candidate will work with content creators to develop tools and features that maximize productivity. We create cross-platform games with fast-paced action and cutting-edge technology. Specific duties will vary depending on the skill-set of the successful applicant.
• Analyze content creators’ workflow and develop tools to improve iteration time
• Help make our existing art and design tools more usable and elegant
• Profile and optimize tool performance issues
• Fix bugs in the tool suite
• Work with QA team to ensure automated test coverage of tool features
• Evangelize tools with how-to documentation and instructional videos
Skills/Requirements
· 3 – 5 years experience in software development
· Deep knowledge of C++ and STL
· Fluency in C#
· Proficiency with SQL
· Mastery of MFC and Win32 tools development
· B.S. degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or Engineering
· Excellent communications skills
· An uncompromising passion for quality
