They are looking for someone who hates user frustration and loves it when their work is invisible to the consumer. Someone who is passionate about great UI and who loathes mediocre, complex, and unnecessary interfaces and design. This position will be responsible for designing interactive user interfaces on a variety of game titles and platforms including mobile, web and social games. You must be able to carry these designs through to finished, in-game assets. The love of quickly executing UI proof of concepts and interactive UI prototypes is a must.

Responsibilities:
• Assist lead designers in the creation of assets, production, screen layout, UI design and conceptualization
• Work with game designers, producers and engineers to iterate on the best solutions to game UI challenges
• Create developer friendly files that follow best practices for file setup and asset optimization
• Ability to think through and create wireframes and interaction flows for various games on various platforms such as iPhone, iPad, and web / social.
• Participate in project brainstorms

Required Skills/Personal Requirements:
• Previous experience as a web-based graphic artist with recent experience focusing on UI design and implementation
• Personal portfolio site showcasing a variety of visual and user-interface designs
• Possess the flexibility and organization to work on a number of different titles and projects simultaneously
• Excellent visual and motion design sensibilities
• Strong knowledge of Photoshop and Flash required (no really!!)
• Experience with Illustrator or other art/design-oriented programs is highly recommended
• Possess best practices in regards to image optimization and Flash file setup
• Has an upbeat, positive attitude and enjoy working on a team
• Ability to work effectively and receive critiques from others on the art team as well as engineers and producers
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient Mac/Windows skills
• Must work within established procedures and file structures with minimal supervision
• Ability to illustrate characters and backgrounds is a plus

Education and/or Certifications:
• College degree in Art, Animation, Design, or related field preferred
• Continued design classes and/or certification a plus
