UI Experience Designer - Hungary
For 13 years our client has been producing games of the highest possible quality for both PC and Next Gen platforms.
They are looking for an experienced UI Designer to work in their studio based in Hungary.
The successful candidate will be a creatively minded and driven individual who communicates well with programmers and game designers in order to develop cutting edge UI designs for games and interactive media.
You will be proficient in a diverse set of software including Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator (or equivalent) Experience with video game user interface is essential along with strong graphic design skills.
Requirements:
• Strong artistic and technical background
• Expertise in user interface design principles and usability
• Experience with image editing (Adobe Photoshop preferred)
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI, HUD, Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, Web Design, etc.
• Willing to relocate to Budapest, Hungary
• BFA in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, 3D art or similar background/traditional training
• Additional language experience (good knowledge of C++ a strong plus)
• Version-control systems (Perforce, SVN, CVS, VSS) familiarity
• Experience in the games industry as a UI Designer
• Shipped-title experience
Responsibilities:
• Develop UI for high profile games
• Work with Artists, Designers, and Programmers to design and develop innovative UI elements
• Established interpersonal and organizational skills
• Must work well in a team oriented environment
• Understand and follow style guides to guarantee the consistency of the game
