Unreal Mission Scripter
My client can safely claim they have created some of the past decades classic games. Not only critically successful but also commercially, achieving millions of sales.
They are now looking for an experienced Mission Scripter who will be responsible for effectively implementing design docs, identify dependencies, and implement feedback. The successful candidate will work with the Lead Scripter to ensure the Design requirements for the mission are being met.
Responsibilities:
• You will be required to implement Kismet Sequences within provided levels, and implement missions to specification.
• You must also be able to liaise with Level Designers to ensure the mission requirements are being efficiently met.
• Meeting weekly work targets and milestones deliverables in a full production environment, within a tight deadline.
Requirements/Experience
• Solid experience working in Games, in Scripting, Level Design or similar role.
• Proven experience in developing within the UDK environment.
• Excellent understanding of Kismet and Matinee.
• Experience with Designing Levels with Unreal Editor.
• Good organization, problem solving and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate well and work effectively within a team environment.
• Must be enthusiastic and show a creative drive as well as passion video games and storytelling.
• Unreal Script, LUA, Java, C#, or other scripting languages.
• Experience working within Source Control.
• Experience developing for Xbox360.
Specific Skills
• Experience developing with the UDK environment
• Experience with Matinee and Camera Work
• Experience with Kismet.
